On legitimate grounds, the CLIENT may object to the processing of data relating to him or her. The CLIENT’s attention is drawn, however, to the fact that failing to provide all relevant information may prevent THE LAWYER from dealing with the request or delay its handling.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended (loi Informatique et Libertés), the CLIENT has a right of access, restriction, rectification, deletion or erasure of personal data concerning him or her. Where applicable, the CLIENT also has the right to data portability. The CLIENT may also give the firm instructions regarding the disclosure or non-disclosure of his or her personal data after death.

These rights may be exercised with the data protection contact (the person responsible for personal data matters), by email at jean-philippe.chatelain@avocat.fr or by post to Jean-Philippe CHATELAIN, Avocat à la Cour, 52 rue de Richelieu – 75001 PARIS, France, together with a copy of an identity document.

In the event of a dispute, a complaint may be lodged with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the competent supervisory authority.
